Marianne Dages, CLOUD, monotype and letterpress artist’s book, Edition of Two, 2019
CLOUD is an “edition” of two, unique monotype books. The interiors were printed by hand-inking large, used, aluminum offset lithography plates and printing the results on a relief press. The unpredictable nature of the plates resulted in a series of unique images that recall clouds, images of space, and damaged film.
Thank you to Women’s Studio Workshop and the Beisinghoff Printmaking Residency in Diemelstadt-Rhoden, Germany, where these prints were produced.
